Join the Tilkkunen Kilometrikisa team 🚲

Summer is approaching — hopefully, the weather will warm up soon too! Bright days invite us to both the sewing machine and, at times, outdoors for some activity. To balance sewing and quilting moments, a short bike ride or a mundane grocery trip by bike can do wonders.

This year, Tilkkunen is participating in the Kilometrikisa 2026 campaign. I joined myself and also created Tilkkunen's own team. It would be wonderful to have customers, quilters, and craft enthusiasts join — exactly the kind of people for whom both creativity and a little everyday movement bring joy. 💛

In Kilometrikisa, you don't need to be a top cyclist or accumulate vast distances. Even small cycling trips count: commutes, grocery runs, evening rides, or even a short spin on a beautiful day. The most important thing is a good mood and mutual encouragement.

At the same time, cycling is also a small good deed for the environment. Every journey made by bike can be a small step towards a lighter and more environmentally friendly daily life — and perhaps this will create a nice common summer challenge for us.
