Return Policy

Right of Withdrawal

In distance selling, the consumer has a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with Finnish Consumer Protection Law. The withdrawal period begins on the day the customer or their designated recipient has received the last item of the order.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify us unambiguously by email at sales@tilkkunen.com within 14 days of receiving the product.

After withdrawal, the product must be returned without delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice has been given.

Condition of Returned Products

The returned product must be unused and in a condition where it can be resold as new. The product may only be handled to the extent necessary to determine its nature and functionality, in the same way as would be permitted in a physical store.

Products eligible for return may also be returned to our premises by separate arrangement.

Return Costs

The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the product is defective or otherwise agreed. We do not accept returns sent cash on delivery or equivalent.

Limitations on the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been made or cut to order or according to the customer's individual specifications. Such products include, for example, fabrics, batting, and other products cut to a specific length.

Course registrations are binding unless otherwise stated. However, a course place may be transferred to another person by prior arrangement with us.

Uncollected Parcels

An uncollected parcel is neither a return nor a withdrawal notice. The customer is responsible for any costs incurred by an uncollected parcel.

Defective or Damaged Products

If a product has been damaged in transit, lost, or otherwise does not correspond to your order, please contact us as soon as possible by email at sales@tilkkunen.com

If a shipment is clearly damaged during transport, we recommend also filing a damage report with the carrier or Posti.

Refunds

We will refund payments received for orders covered by the right of withdrawal without delay and no later than 14 days after we have received the withdrawal notice. However, we reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the product back or until the customer has provided proof of having sent the product back.

The refund will be made using the same payment method the customer used for the original order, unless otherwise agreed.
