Aurifil Cone 40wt Light Sand (2000)

Aurifil Light Sand (2000) is a warm, light sand-toned 100% cotton thread that pairs beautifully with cream, beige, and other warm, natural shades. 40wt is a slightly thicker Aurifil thread, so the quilting stands out more clearly on the fabric surface than with the thinner 50wt thread – an excellent choice when you want your quilting to be visible.

The large cone lasts a long time and is particularly well-suited for longarm quilting, machine quilting, and larger patchwork projects.

40wt or 50wt is suitable for the bobbin thread. For longarm quilting, we recommend using 50wt thread in the bobbin.
