Aurifil White (2024) is a bright white 100% cotton thread – a natural choice for white and very light fabrics, as well as for quilting where you want the stitches to stand out clearly against a darker background. 40wt is a slightly thicker Aurifil thread, so the stitching appears more pronounced on the fabric surface than with the thinner 50wt thread – an excellent choice when you want your quilting to be visible.

The large cone lasts a long time and is especially suitable for longarm and machine quilting, as well as larger patchwork projects.

40wt or 50wt thread is suitable for the bobbin. For longarm quilting, we recommend using 50wt thread in the bobbin.
