The Memory Craft 1000 can be easily converted into an embroidery machine, allowing you to embroider ready-made, purchased, or self-designed embroidery patterns. The machine receives embroidery data via USB. Place the fabric or garment in the included hoop, select a motif, name, or combination, and press the start button. The touchscreen provides all the necessary information about thread color, number of stitches, and embroidery duration. The Memory Craft 1000 offers high-quality embroidery with dense and even details, and you can create clear letters up to 4 mm in height, as well as so-called micro-embroidery.  

Large Workspace 180 x 110 mm  
The Memory Craft 1000 is part of our collection that features a large internal workspace of 180 x 110 mm to the right of the needle. This space is excellent for large and bulky projects, such as patchwork, home textile sewing, wedding and evening gown sewing, and other projects where extra space makes work easier. 

LCD Display 
The high-resolution color LCD touchscreen with intuitive touch operation makes it easy to edit stitches and patterns and create your own combinations. The display provides all the necessary information and allows you to adjust settings to your preferences. 

7 mm Wide Stitches and 71 Needle Positions 
Thanks to the extensive stitch library, you can sew stitches up to 7 mm wide. Each stitch has 71 unique needle positions, and you can adjust the width and length in 0.1 mm increments. This creates soft, round, and clear shapes, and your decorative stitches will be both rich and distinct. Choose from 300 different stitches, including utility stitches, buttonholes, applique stitches, cross stitches, patchwork, and satin stitches, as well as letters in three different fonts. 

Easy Threading and Bobbin Winding 
The large J-bobbin holds a lot of thread, and the machine automatically pulls up the bobbin thread when you start sewing. The horizontal upper thread holder ensures tangle-free and smooth thread feeding, and the intelligent needle threader makes changing threads quick and easy. 

Smooth Needle Plate Change 
Using the right tool at the right time is crucial in sewing. When working with thin fabrics or quilting, a straight stitch needle plate can make a big difference. With the One Step™ needle plate conversion, you can easily change needle plates and adapt the machine to your project. The needle plate is released with a simple press of a lever, and you can quickly snap a new one into place – without a screwdriver. The system also activates a sensor that limits it to straight stitching when the straight stitch needle plate is attached, protecting the needle from breaking. Two needle plates are included: normal and straight stitch. 

Precise Guides on the Needle Plate, Bobbin Case, and Free Arm  
The needle plates have centimeter and inch markings relative to the needle's stitch point, as well as angles to facilitate precise sewing. The straight stitch needle plate also has a hole suitable for a ¼ inch presser foot, which is excellent for patchwork techniques. 

The needle plates have the following markings: 

• Centimeter and inch markings relative to the needle's stitch point in the central position.
• 45, 60, 90, 120 degrees (the dashed line is used with the 1/4 inch presser foot O).
• Needle drop point for the angle guide 16 mm/3/8”.
• Inch markings 1/4, 3/8, 5/8.

The Memory Craft 1000 is equipped with a compact and powerful embroidery unit, featuring a robotic embroidery arm that provides stability. You can switch from sewing to embroidery quickly with a single press of a button on the screen. Janome was a pioneer of embroidery machines with XY movement in the 1990s. As the world's largest manufacturer of industrial robots, they have refined this technology to perfection, and it is now reused in their state-of-the-art Linear Motion Embroidery™ system. This system uses three linear motion guides – two for the X-axis and one for the Y-axis, providing excellent stability and mobility. 

Ready-Made Embroidery Patterns 
The Memory Craft 1000 offers a wide range of ready-made embroidery patterns, totaling 241. The machine also has a special function for clip embroidery, where detailed information, such as needle settings, is displayed directly on the screen. When creating clip embroidery patterns, the Memory Craft 1000 automatically adjusts the thread sensor settings, as no thread is used. You can choose from 11 different fonts and create monograms with two or three letters. 

Unique Thread Tension for 3D Effect 
The Memory Craft 1000 embroiders each stitch precisely without tightening the thread, creating a unique 3D effect that only Janome machines offer. This gives the stitches a beautiful, raised appearance, unlike flat embroidery. The 3D effect adds extra sparkle when metallic thread is mixed with other threads, giving the embroidery a captivating shimmer. 

Micro-Embroidery 
Micro-embroidery refers to embroidery with very small details. With an ultra-thin Organ Microtex #60 needle and thin WonderFil Deco Bob polyester thread #80, the Memory Craft 1000 can embroider legible letters as small as 4 mm high. Achieving these small details requires extreme precision, which the Memory Craft 1000 is capable of. 

Embroidery Area 
The Memory Craft 1000 features a square hoop, the 140 x 140 mm SQ hoop, which is ideal for medium-sized embroideries.
