With this embroidery machine, you can use built-in designs, purchase designs, or create your own embroidery patterns. You can easily embroider by placing the fabric or garment in your chosen hoop, selecting a pattern, letters, or a built-in design, and then starting to embroider. The touchscreen displays all necessary information, such as thread color, stitch count, estimated embroidery time, and much more. You get excellent embroidery quality with dense and even details, as well as the ability to embroider letters up to 4 mm high for micro-embroidery. The machine includes four embroidery hoops, the largest being 200 x 360 mm.

The colorful touchscreen provides all the necessary information to edit and create design combinations easily and simply.

Simple Threading
Bobbin winding is fast and secure with deep, J-marked bobbins that hold extra thread. The bobbin is inserted directly into the bobbin case without needing to pull the thread up by hand – the machine does this automatically when embroidery begins. The upper thread is also easy to thread thanks to the horizontal spool pin, which ensures smooth and tangle-free thread delivery. A coded thread path and semi-automatic needle threader make needle threading and thread changes quick and easy.

Illuminated Work Area

Five powerful LED lights are strategically placed above the work area, illuminating it for optimal visibility. The function buttons are also illuminated, making them easy to find and use.

Built-in Embroidery Designs

The Memory Craft 550E Limited Edition offers 180 built-in embroidery designs, including border designs, banners, floral alphabets, and separate lace designs. You can also choose from three different fonts in three heights and create monograms with two or three letters. Additionally, a wide range of border stitches and other stitches are available for creating your own design combinations.

Unique Thread Tension for 3D Effect

The machine embroiders each stitch precisely without tightening the thread, which gives a unique 3D effect that differs from flat embroidery. This effect creates a beautiful sheen, especially when metallic threads are mixed, and adds an extra dimension to the embroidery.

Micro-Embroidery

The MC550E LE is capable of creating detailed micro-embroidery using a thin needle (Organ Microtex #60) and fine thread (WonderFil Deco Bob #80). This capacity makes it possible to embroider small letters down to 4 mm thanks to the machine's micro-precision.

Embroidery Area and Hoops

The machine includes four embroidery hoops and templates: two square hoops with embroidery areas of 140 x 140 and 200 x 200 mm, and two rectangular hoops with embroidery areas of 140 x 200 and 200 x 360 mm. Magnetic clamps are included to stabilize the fabric in the hoop.

Import Embroidery Designs

Embroidery designs can be transferred from your computer via a USB stick. Once the hoop is installed and you press the start button, embroidery begins immediately. The machine automatically stops when the thread color changes and cuts the thread if necessary.

Editing Functions

With the MC550E LE, you can embroider up to 860 stitches per minute with high precision. The machine offers extensive editing capabilities directly on the screen, including rotation in 1-degree increments, size adjustment between 90% and 110%, and the ability to combine and save your own designs. The machine handles large embroideries with ease and excels in details, such as micro-embroidery.

Embroidery Editor™ Software

AcuSketch™ is a free app for iPad that allows you to draw your own designs, which can then be transferred to the embroidery machine. The app converts drawn lines into stitch data in jef format.
