Palazzo BOM: Aurifil's Yarn Club of the Month 2024.
Aurifil's brand new BOM thread subscription program for 2024 has just been announced, and I'm delighted to share with you the latest chapter in Aurifil's creative journey. Palazzo BOM launches in April , featuring an exclusive monthly base paper quilt designed by Kitty Wilkin (Night Quilter) in collaboration with Aurifilin 50 wt. With the Italian Color Builders series.
Palazzo BOM promises to transport the creators to the heart of Italy, encapsulating a rich and fabled architectural history using vibrant colors and contrast between fluid and angular shapes. This program uses the very popular 50 weight 2020 Color Builder kits, but includes new designs and videos.
Each set contains three large spools (1300 m each) of 50 weight cotton yarn in light, medium and dark shades of the same color. These are SOLID COLOR threads, not varigated. Along with the threads, you will receive an e-mail newsletter containing a downloadable PDF pattern, tips and tricks, and an exclusive video from the pattern's designer, Kitty Wilkin. The pattern is recommended for advanced beginners using the foundation paper piecing method.
The price of the program is 32 euros per month for 12 months. Registration for the program opens today and ends on March 15, 2024.
This is the fourth year that I have organized the Aurifil thread subscription program.
With the 2023 Color Builder membership, you can easily supplement your sewing thread selections.
Aurifil is not releasing a new Color Builders yarn collection this year, but wants to highlight the three Color Builder yarn collections it has already published. There are a total of 36 spools of thread in each thread collection. From them you will receive a monthly batch of three matching sewing threads.
Choose the yarns for your monthly membership packages from one of these collections:
- 2020 Italy 50wt (each package contains three solid color sewing threads)
- 2021 Endangered Species 40wt (each package contains three solid color sewing threads)
- 2022 Flora 50wt (two variegated and one plain colored sewing thread in each package)
If you are interested in collecting yarn from several of these collections at the same time, you can mention it in the additional information, and you will receive a monthly shipment of several collections with the same membership.
So you can get to know Aurifil's yarns every month easily and cheaply all year round! With a membership fee of five euros, we can assess demand and prepare for it. Members get yarns cheaper than others.
