Designed by Elizabeth Hartman, the Swan Island quilt pattern is an elegant and modern design featuring beautiful swan blocks. The pattern makes two quilts in different sizes and a pillowcase with a 28 × 36 cm (11” × 14”) swan block. All pieces are cut with a circular cutter and sewn using traditional quilting techniques – no paper piecing.
The pattern includes clear diagrams and tables of each swan block's parts, as well as step-by-step written and illustrated instructions. This pattern has small pieces, but carefully guides you through each step.
Suitable for intermediate quilters and is an excellent project for making individual blocks, pillows, and striking quilts.
