The Aurifil Color Builders 2021 series was created to showcase Aurifil’s soft yet strong 40wt thread. The series consists of 12 mini collections, each colored after an endangered animal species – a reminder that these species need our attention and protection.
40wt is slightly thicker than 50wt thread, making it stand out beautifully in quilting and decorative stitching, while still working smoothly in the machine. Each spool contains 1000 meters of thread.
