The Aurifil Color Builders 2021 series was created to showcase Aurifil’s soft yet strong 40wt thread. The series features 12 small collections, each drawing its color palette from an endangered animal species – a reminder that these species need our attention and protection.
40wt is slightly thicker than 50wt thread, so it shows up beautifully in quilting and decorative stitching, while still running smoothly through a machine. Each spool contains 1000 meters of thread.
