Quilt Binding Course
Language: English primarily, Finnish when needed
A month long course is starting with individual registration for each of the meetings. The idea of the course is to help you get your unfinished quilts finished.
On our last meeting we will learn about the last steps to finish quilt: Binding. We will talk about following subjects:
- quilt label
- hanging sleeve
- hand binding (invisible & big stitch binding)
- machine binding
- flange binding (2 color binding)
In the practical part of the course, we will perform a quilt binding process together. We will make 4 pot holder/mug rug, using each techniques. All material is supplied, you will bring your own fabric if you prefer.
