Quilt Basting Course
Language: English primarily, Finnish when needed
A month long course is starting with individual registration for each of the meetings. The idea of the course is to help you get your unfinished quilts finished.
On this first meeting we will baste together a quilt-top, basting and backing fabric. We will talk about at least following subjects:
- batting types
- choosing proper batting
- choosing backing fabric
- and several ways to baste quilts
- how can use batting pieces
In the practical part of the course, we will perform a quilt basting process together. If you have a finished quilt top, you may also bring your batting and backing fabric and baste them together with us.
