Quilt Basting Course

Language: English primarily, additionally Finnish if necessary

The month-long course helps to complete unfinished patchwork. Each course meeting has its own registration.

In the first course meeting, the top fabric, batting and back fabric of the patchwork are brushed together and we discuss related issues:

• cotton types
• choosing the right type of batting
• choosing the right back fabric
• different ways of combing
  
• utilization of cotton balls

In the practical part, we practice practicing together with the help of model work. If you have some of your own patchwork to brush over, you can also bring it along with the batting and backing fabric of your choice and practice brushing with it.
