Aurifil Color Builders 2021 – Blue-Throated Macaw is a set of three large spools of thread, the colors of which are inspired by an endangered animal species. The package includes a light, medium, and dark shade that complement each other perfectly.
Aurifil’s Color Builders 2021 series was created to showcase Aurifil’s soft yet strong 40wt thread. The series consists of 12 small collections, each of which draws its colors from an endangered animal species – a reminder that these species need our attention and protection.
40wt is slightly thicker than 50wt thread, so it shows beautifully in quilting and decorative stitching while still performing smoothly in the machine. Each spool contains 1000 meters of thread.
