Olympus Hana-Fukin Sashiko Embroidery Kit – Hoshi Dark Blue
Bring home a Japanese craft tradition! Hana-Fukin ("flower cloth") is a traditional Japanese cotton cloth onto which beautiful geometric patterns are embroidered using sashiko stitches. In this kit, the pattern is Hoshi – "star." Six-pointed stars cover the entire cloth in a dense, shimmering surface. The negative shapes between the stars create a diamond pattern, adding extra depth to the design. A detailed and impressive pattern – it requires patience, but the result is stunning.
The fabric has pre-printed embroidery guides – you just need to thread your needle and start stitching. The guide lines disappear with washing, leaving only your beautiful embroidery.
The finished cloth is suitable for:
- A kitchen towel or napkin fabric
- A pillowcase, bag, or patchwork project
- Decorating clothing or home textiles
