With the Clover Fusible Bias Tape Maker, you can create bias tape that has a thin strip of fusible web attached to the back as you iron it. You can iron the finished 18 mm wide bias tape directly into place without the need for pins or basting. It is especially convenient for appliqué, such as stained glass-style quilting, Celtic designs, and curved stems and frames.
How to use
- Cut 36 mm wide strips of fabric on the bias (45°).
- Feed the strip through the device and insert the fusible web into the guide so that it sits on the back of the folded tape.
- Pull the device forward while ironing – the folds and the fusible web are set in one go.
- Iron the finished bias tape onto the desired position and sew the edges down by hand or machine.
