Olympus Hana-Fukin Sashiko Embroidery Kit – Yosegi
Bring Japanese handicraft tradition into your home! Hana-Fukin ("flower cloth") is a traditional Japanese cotton cloth, on which beautiful geometric patterns are embroidered with sashiko stitches. The pattern in this kit is Yosegi – a geometric pattern inspired by traditional Japanese wood mosaic art.
The fabric has pre-printed embroidery instructions – you just need to thread the needle and start stitching. The guide lines disappear with washing, leaving behind only your beautiful embroidery.
The finished cloth is suitable for:
- As a kitchen towel or napkin cloth
- For a pillow cover, bag, or patchwork
- Decorating clothes or home textiles
- Framing as a wall decoration
The kit includes:
- Pre-printed 100% cotton fabric (white, approx. 34 × 34 cm)
- Illustrated embroidery instructions
Please note: Thread and needle are not included in the kit. You will need about 40 m of sashiko thread for embroidery.
Care instructions: Hand wash in lukewarm water after embroidering and dry in the shade.
