Ruby Star Society Calathea is a harmonious and modern fabric collection inspired by houseplants and the peaceful spaces of the home. The collection is inspired by the designers' shared love of plants, textures and organic forms of nature - and the desire to create a warm, inviting and homely atmosphere.
The visual direction of the collection was led by Alexia Marcelle Abegg, who aimed to soften the color palette while maintaining Ruby Star Society’s signature personality. The result is a calm yet vibrant ensemble that combines soft tones, lush greens, spicy cayenne, and energetic strawberry red.
Layer Cake includes 42 pre-cut 10” x 10” (approx. 25.4 x 25.4 cm) cotton fabric pieces, perfect for quick quilts, quilts, wall hangings and gift sewing. A great choice when you want to work with color without a lot of cutting.
