Elizabeth Hartman - Dog Park EH-076 patchwork pattern (paper version)

Elizabeth Hartman's Dog Park is a cheerful and personable quilt pattern that features 11 different dog blocks sewn using traditional quilting techniques (no paper piecing). Tippi, Cookie, Bernadette, Pickles, Lucky, Ginger, Edgar, Wadsworth, Buttercup, Jeff and Clover are all ready to play at the dog park!

The pattern is designed for fat quarters and fat eights. Each dog block has its own fabric combinations, and some fabrics are repeated in more than one block. Some of the designs are intentionally a bit open to interpretation, so you can play around with colors and patterns – and make the dogs look like your own furry friends.

Dog block sizes

• Smallest block: approx. 28 × 33 cm (11" × 13")
• Largest block: approximately 48 × 66 cm (19" × 26")

Suitable for intermediate quilters and is an excellent project for making individual blocks, pillows, and striking quilts.

• Finished size: Dog Park includes instructions for four different sampler blankets:
  • Small quilt: approximately 102 × 127 cm (40" × 50") - 4 dog blocks (Clover, Wadsworth, Jeff, Buttercup)
  • Middle quilt: approx. 140 x 152 cm (55" x 60") - 7 dog blocks (Pickles, Edgar, Tippi, Cookie, Bernadette, Lucky, Ginger)
  • Large blankets:
    • Large Quilt 1: approx. 173 × 183 cm (68" x 72")
    • Large Quilt 2: Approx. 173 x 218 cm (68" x 86")
