Designed by Elizabeth Hartman, Lisa the Unicorn quilt pattern brings a touch of magic and rainbows to quilting! With this pattern, you sew gorgeous unicorns using traditional quilting techniques – without paper piecing. The horn is made using the included full-size cutting pattern and a handy sewing technique that makes it easy to align the dots. The other pieces are cut and sewn from squares and rectangles.

The pattern recommends using pre-cut 2.5” strips of fabric for the unicorn’s mane – it’s both an easy and cost-effective alternative to buying up to 54 different pieces of fabric. The pattern is also great for using up fabric scraps, and includes clear diagrams for both a solid-colored and rainbow-colored mane.
