The DARUMA Hana-Fukin Sashiko fabric with grid pattern is a high-quality Japanese 100% cotton fabric designed specifically for sashiko embroidery. The fabric has a grid pattern printed with water-soluble ink, which aids in stitching and makes it easy to transfer patterns directly onto the fabric without separate marking.

The fabric is pleasantly soft, yet firm enough to allow for even stitches with both thicker and thinner threads. Its good absorbency also makes the finished work practical for everyday use.

Due to its large size, the fabric is suitable for use as a cloth, wall hanging, or for furoshiki-style gift wrapping. The fabric can also be cut into smaller pieces and combined with another fabric, allowing the grid to be fully utilized in various projects.
