With Odif's 505 short-lasting fabric glue, you avoid the use of needles when joining batting and fabrics together, so you can sew without avoiding needles. This also makes sewing easier, as the fabrics stay together even in normal sewing or machine embroidery.
The glue does not stain the fabric, it evaporates when the fabric is handled and is completely removed from the fabric when washed.
However, glue is harmful to the body and flammable, you must be careful when using and storing it and follow the instructions.
Instructions:
- protect the work surface
- shake well before use
- spray from a distance of 10 inches from side to side
- for quilting: spray from a distance of 10 inches onto the batting. align the patchwork fabric on top of the wadding and turn the formed stack the other way. spray on the batting again and align the backing fabric over the batting. start sewing!
- in embroidery: attach the stabilizer fabric to the embroidery frame. spray the stabilizer and align your fabric to the stabilizer without attaching your fabric to the frame. this way you avoid the marks left by the frame on your fabric. you can wash the frame with soapy water or using Odif's DK5 product.
If stains appear: dry clean.
