Sixten is a modern quilt with a scrappy twist. It looks like it would be very difficult to sew. It’s not! You can do this! There are no Y seams, and the pattern describes in detail how to achieve this look without elaborate cutting.
The pattern calls for an equilateral triangle ruler with a minimum height of 7-1/4” for easy cutting. However, the pattern also explains how to cut the pieces without the special ruler.
Let your scrap pieces come to life on this quilt! You can easily use 88 different fabrics, and still the quilt will not look chaotic.
The pattern has several colour charts that help you sew the quilt in similar colours than the model version. Blank charts and tables are included if you want to plan your own colours.
Sixten pattern by Tilkunviilaaja is 16 pages full of detailed instructions. Cutting, sewing, pressing tips, clear diagrams, and full colour photos.
This pattern is easy enough for a beginner, and a more advanced quilter will enjoy it too. The quilt is a fast make!
