Hobbs Heirloom Premium Wool batting

Hobbs Heirloom® Premium Wool batting insulates well. Its fiber structure still breathes and allows excess heat to escape from the body. One of the strengths of wool is warmth without feeling heavy. It can also absorb moisture up to 30% of its own weight without feeling damp. Small fibers trap air, which gives this batting its insulating power. In addition, wool battings are naturally anti-mould and can withstand even moth stains in cotton fabric patchwork.

This batting can be quilted at 3" distances and retains its fluffiness well. Heirloom® wool batting is bound with a light resin treatment to strengthen it and reduce loose fibers.
