Aurifil Cone 40wt Mist (2606)

Aurifil Mist (2606) is a subtle, light gray 100% cotton thread that blends beautifully with both light and medium-toned fabrics. 40wt is a slightly thicker Aurifil thread, making the quilting stand out more clearly on the fabric surface than with the thinner 50wt thread – an excellent choice when you want the quilting to be visible.

The large cone lasts a long time and is especially suitable for longarm and machine quilting as well as larger patchwork projects.

Needle recommendations:

• 80/12 Microtex, Universal, or Denim needle

For the bobbin, 40wt or 50wt thread is suitable. For longarm quilting, we recommend using 50wt thread in the bobbin.
