Clover Black Gold Applique Needles Sharps No. 9 – Precision for Applique and Hand Sewing

Black Gold is Clover's highest needle class. The needle is ground lengthwise and coated with an ultra-thin black layer for excellent rust protection. Black Gold needles pass through fabric with 30% less friction than ordinary hand sewing needles — a difference particularly noticeable in applique work where the needle repeatedly passes through multiple layers of fabric.

Sharps needles are longer and thinner than Between needles. Their long shaft allows for precise stitches and easy needle control even in small details. The sharp tip penetrates even dense fabric effortlessly.
