Clover Sashiko Needles (short) – a versatile needle set for Japanese stitching
Sashiko is a centuries-old Japanese hand-stitching tradition. Originally a technique used by farm women in northern Japan, where cotton thread was used to reinforce and warm fabrics with stitching. Today, sashiko is a popular craft practiced around the world in quilting, embroidery, and visible mending.
Shorter needles are suitable for more precise work and smaller stitch lengths than the long #2009 model. The gold-plated elliptical eye makes threading easier, and the nickel-plated body ensures smooth gliding through the fabric.
