Casserole is a warm and pleasantly graphic quilting pattern by Elizabeth Hartman, perfect for using up fabric scraps. The pattern features folk art-inspired floral medallions that create a striking and balanced whole.
The pattern works well with fat eighths, 10" × 10" pre-cut squares, or your own fabric scraps. The flower blocks are joined together using sashing strips and Plus Units to make either a small or large quilt.
Each Casserole Flower Medallion Block measures 26" × 26" (≈ 66 × 66 cm).
The pattern uses traditional quilting techniques – not paper piecing – and is well suited for quilters with some experience.
