Hobbs Heirloom® Premium Cotton Blend 80/20 cotton/polyester batting works well for quilting both by hand and by machine. The batting is made from 80% natural cotton and 20% fine polyester, it is needle-punched and features a light resin treatment that provides exceptional strength and durability. Stitching with short sewing intervals produces a flat surface, while larger intervals create a slightly raised quilting pattern.
Hobbs Heirloom® Premium 80/20 cotton/polyester blend batting should be used with medium to dark fabrics, as the unbleached cotton it contains may darken the shade of white, light, and pastel-colored fabrics if it shows through them.
