With Hobbs Heirloom® Premium Cotton Blend bleached 80/20 cotton/polyester batting, quilting is easy by hand or machine. The batting is made from 80% natural cotton and 20% fine polyester, manufactured using a needle-punch technique, and features a light resin treatment for exceptional strength and durability. Quilting with close stitches produces a flat surface, while wider stitch intervals create a slightly raised quilted pattern.
Hobbs Heirloom® Premium 80/20 cotton/polyester blend batting should be used with medium to dark fabrics, as the unbleached cotton it contains has a natural color that may darken the shade of white, light, and pastel fabrics when it shows through them.
