Nordic Solstice 10635-C Borealis Ashen Clay is a dramatic Northern Lights-themed patchwork fabric printed on a grey background, where sliding shades of white, silver, and gold imitate the undulating dance of the aurora in the winter sky. The vertical, vivid pattern makes this fabric the collection's most striking eye-catcher.

The fabric is part of the Nordic Solstice collection designed by Gudrun Erla, inspired by the winter landscapes of Iceland: glacier horizons, volcanic rocks, and aurora lights.

The fabric is excellent as a main piece for quilts, for large-patterned blocks, and for modern patchwork where the pattern can truly shine. The Borealis pattern is particularly impressive in larger cuts — let the aurora shine.
