Olympus Hana-Fukin Sashiko Embroidery Kit - Chiyogami Dark Blue
Bring home a Japanese craft tradition! Hana-Fukin ("flower cloth") is a traditional Japanese cotton cloth embroidered with beautiful geometric patterns using sashiko stitches. In this kit, the pattern is Chiyogami – a traditional Japanese collection of patterns where several classic geometric designs combine into a harmonious whole. The name refers to Japan's beautiful decorative papers, where different patterns intertwine in a similar way. On this cloth, you will see, for example, kagome, asanoha, seigaiha, and tasuki patterns – a versatile project that showcases the rich pattern tradition of sashiko.
The embroidery instructions are pre-printed on the fabric – you just need to thread your needle and start stitching. The guide lines disappear with washing, leaving behind only your beautiful embroidery.
The finished cloth is suitable for:

- Pillow cover, bag, or patchwork
- Decorating clothes or home textiles
