Olympus Hana-Fukin Sashiko Embroidery Kit – Kasane Rindou White
Bring home the Japanese craft tradition! Hana-Fukin ("flower cloth") is a traditional Japanese cotton cloth onto which beautiful geometric patterns are embroidered using sashiko stitches. In this kit, the pattern is Kasane-Rindou – a geometric pattern consisting of interlocking star-like shapes. Clear, long stitch lines create an impressive and balanced whole. The pattern is relatively sparse, making it excellent for beginners – and allowing the geometric elegance of sashiko to shine through.
The fabric has pre-printed embroidery instructions – you just need to thread your needle and start stitching. The guide lines disappear when washed, leaving behind only your beautiful embroidery.
The finished cloth is suitable for:
- Kitchen towel or placemat fabric
- Pillowcase, bag, or patchwork
- Decorating clothes or home textiles
- Framing as a wall decoration

Please note: Thread and needle are not included in the kit. Approximately 20 m of sashiko thread is needed for embroidery.
