With only two colors, the Trixter quilt offers a great opportunity to explore contrast and shades. In a successful quilt, the light and dark block patterns stand out well. Choose your favorite colors - or go outside your comfort zone by bringing a more unusual combination for you. The pattern comes with outline drawings that you can color your own selections on.

Parts A and B of the Trixter patchwork blocks are also suitable for cutting from layer cake, charm pack and mini charm pack precut packages.

The size of the blocks including the seam allowance is 5" x 5". The instructions use inch measurements.

The blocks are easy and quick to sew. The variation of two different blocks and different dark areas still makes the patchwork look attractive.

The English-language pattern prepared by Tilkunviilaaa has ten pages, where you can find detailed cutting and sewing instructions with pictures. There are also tips for choosing colors.

There is a fabric consumption estimate for a patchwork surface the size of a nap blanket. You can also make use of your leftover pieces – especially strips left over from your other projects.
