Vliesofix Bondaweb – double-sided adhesive web for appliqué

Vliesofix Bondaweb is a high-quality, double-sided iron-on adhesive web for permanently bonding two fabrics together. The transparent adhesive web has a removable backing paper: draw the design on the paper, iron the web onto the fabric, and cut out the shape precisely. The appliqué will stay in place when you sew around the edges, for example with a zigzag or satin stitch.

Suitable for all fabrics that can withstand ironing – especially for appliqué, patchwork, decorative sewing, and repair sewing. Also suitable for felt, denim, cardboard, and wood, and for leather at a low temperature.

Directions for use:

1. Draw the design as a mirror image on the smooth side of the backing paper and cut it out roughly.
2. Place the rough adhesive side on the wrong side of the appliqué fabric and iron for about 5 seconds without steam (2–3 dots). Allow to cool.
3. Cut out the design precisely and remove the backing paper.
4. Place the appliqué in position adhesive side down, cover with a damp cloth, and iron for about 10 seconds.
5. Allow to cool for about 30 minutes before further processing.
